Hilary van der Meulen is currently the Membership Director of the i2Coalition. van der Meulen serves as i2Coalition’s central coordinator for engaging and recruiting new members, and is the chief driver of growth for the organization. van der Meulen has 10 years of experience in the hosting and cloud industry. Prior to joining the i2Coalition, van der Meulen previously worked for iNET Interactive and Web Host Industry Review. One of the most connected people in the Internet infrastructure industry, van der Meulen has managed accounts for 30 of the top 100 Internet infrastructure companies in the world, and hundreds more. van der Meulen graduated from George Brown College with a degree in editing. Steven Higashi leverages nearly two decades of hosting experience in shared, vps, dedicated and co-location markets at all levels – B2C – B2B – Enterprise and almost a full decade in the cloud computing space where he worked at an Infrastructure as a Service startup, OnApp, as a Cloud Analyst. Within OnApp, Steven focused on cloud computing as it relates to the hosting industry as well as strategic solutions for each and every client regarding pricing, product, marketing, technology and new business models. Throughout his career, Steven has owned two hosting companies, most resent being VistaPages.com (sold to HostMDS/2009) and has lived and worked in 3 countries with notable firms such as 9net Avenue, webhosting.net and eCommerce.com; which has given him a unique perspective when to comes to service providers, cloud software, businesses and technology which adds much needed value to companies that need solutions on a global scale.
He received his BA in Economics from Dalhousie University, in Halifax, NS. With a background in media and economics, David Hamilton has made a career of communicating complex internet topics to both general and niche audiences. He witnessed the growth of cloud computing as a tech journalist for various media outlets and as a contributing editor for industry publication The WHIR. His attention to detail and analytical eye caught the attention of major tech brands needing both in-depth expertise and the ability to communicate simply and effectively. He’s produced creative content for HP, Intel, Lenovo, Bell Canada, and others. He’s an active member of the tech and startup community in Toronto where he founded a coworking space called Lab T.O. Dmitri Adler is the co-founder and Chief Data Scientist of Data Society. Patrick Siconolfi brings extensive experience and expertise in the delivery and management of CRM and business intelligence platforms for many notable organizations across multiple industries, including advertising, finance, telecommunications, manufacturing and online gaming.
Prior to co-founding Toronto, Ontario based software development company Gensquared, Siconolfi held progressively senior positions in organizations such as Molson Canada, Siebel Systems, TELUS, Bearingpoint and Cryptologic. He served as Director of Data Operations for Draftfcb leading their business intelligence and marketing automation platform operations and served on the North American technology senior leadership team at Draftfcb.
Phil Chen has been involved with analytics, business intelligence, data warehousing, and marketing automation over the span of his career. His experience encompasses a variety of diverse roles across numerous industries including consulting, pre-sales, and management across diverse industries, consumer loyalty, retail, financial, and online gaming.
Prior to co-founding Toronto, Ontario based software development company Gensquared, Chen held positions with LoyaltyOne (formerly The Loyalty Management Group Canada) and MicroStrategy. During his nine year tenure at Cryptologic, Chen was instrumental in the design and delivery of the firm’s Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence platform, providing the vision of its Back Office products and services in the roles of Director of Decision Support Services and Sr. Director of Business Services.
Chen holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business.
